| We stayed in the Gojo Guest House for 4 nights - what a delightful stay. It is a great location for seeing Kyoto, geisha and a lovely place for a drink.
The rooms are beautiful, the staff are very welcoming and Anco, the dog is very friendly. Thank you for a lovely time. |

| We love the Gojo Guest House! Gojo Guest House is a beautifully traditional building, with lots of stylish design details everywhere.
A clean and friendly place, with helpful (and cool) people working at the front desk and in the cafe, it's easy and extremely pleasant to stay here. Great price,
loads of atmosphere and always interesting guests to meet and even spend time in Kyoto! (This is our second visit, and we'd love to come back!)

| Very beautiful and traditional feeling place. I loved the Futon and Tatami. Location was perfect to me and the bike rent is great thing.
Showers, Kitchen, toilets, and washing machine was good. Free internet and no curfew made place very good to traveller people.

| This place was great! The traditional tatami-matted rooms and sliding doors were a nice touch - really felt traditional.
The cafe downstairs and all the employees are hip. Overall cool and relaxing environment with very helpful and informative staff.
Wish I stayed for more than one night!

今回は仕事で泊まりましたが、足でかせぐ旅から京都ぶらり旅にも最適です。
キッチン、シャワー、トイレ、セーフティーboxまでついているのでシンプルな旅ならこれで十分。
京の舞妓さんが使っている銭湯も近いです。

| If it's contemplating Kyoto from the stunning Kiyomizu temple or meandering through the atmospheric Kenninji temple gate at night under the moon,
or visiting master Mamoru's ukiyoe print shop (a must), or indeed, seeing maiko and geisha at work in Gion (all a shot walk away) -
the Gojo Guest House could not be better placed. But this is only half the story of staying here. It is the wonderfully warm welcome we received that will be most memorable.
Being shown around the guest house's traditional Japanese interiors by English-speaking Kenji was only the start of a truely wonderful experience and a very relaxing stay. We will be back ! |
