ぐっときました。インターネットでみて気に入り、気付けばすぐに電話してました。豪雨の中も"GOJOチャリ"をレンタルしてカッパとカサでまわりましたが、 絶対に京都の街をかけめぐるならチャリがいいです。小回りはきくし、色々な発見も出来ます。 ゲストハウスの方もとてもきさくで最高なKyotoの旅になりました。春にまた訪ねます。五条ゲストハウスはおすすめです。I love Kyoto!

I spent 6 days at the Gojo guest house and thoroughly enjoyed my time. Gojo street is near the best sites in Kyoto, including Gion, Yasaka Shrine, Kodaiji Temple, plus great traditional architecture. And there is nothing as nice as sleeping on a futon on a tatami floor! I will come back again.

After spending 3 nights in a business hotel in Osaka, the Gojo Guesthouse was a breath of fresh air. The guesthouse is a traditional Japanese building, very beautiful, peaceful, and very very clean. I'm sorry we didn't stay here from the start! The night we stayed it was wonderfully quiet, maybe because we stayed on a weekday. The host and hostess are gracious and speak excellent English. I love this place, it's the best kept secret in Kyoto! 11/6 We enjoyed our stay so much, we decided to come back again, this time walking and biking through the Gion, appreciating the "real" Kyoto, just minutes from the Gojo Guesthuse. Thank you to our hosts ( and now friends ) Eiji and Michiru.

This place is awesome. It's totally Japanese and the staff speak excellent English! We had free drinks and great food. It's in a good location and you can park your car at a goodrate. 各部屋にエアコンが付いていて夏でも寝やすいし、とても清潔で良かったです。１Fのカフェも安いし、もっと滞在すれば宿でゆっくり時間が取れたのに。 レンタサイクル一日500円ですごい快適。バスより絶対いい。清水寺に近く、朝早く起きて散歩するのはとても気分が良いですよ。ゲストハウス裏の小路は 町屋が並んでいて風情あり。自転車で（歩いても行けるけど）四条河原町までお夕飯食べに行く良かったです。今度はさむーい冬に来て泊まりたいなぁ。

While staying in Kyoto The Gojo Guest House is a must for anyone. We highly recommend it for it's wonderfully traditional atmosphere, its quite environment away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and it's shops and for it's proximity to major attractions. The Gojo Guest House's bicycle rental made seeing Kyoto a breeze. Overall the best place to stay when away from home, run by gracious owners who never left us wanting for more. We will be returning to for certain.
